When a standard profile does not suit the proportions of a space, or an existing stucco detail needs to be restored, a new custom model is created. A technical drawing, surviving sample, photograph or sketch can be used to develop a repeatable profile and ornament.
Custom stucco is used when a standard profile does not suit the proportions of a space, an existing detail must be reproduced, or a project calls for a special section, arch or ornament.
For restoration, the starting point is a preserved profile section, an accurately measured cross-section or a technical drawing. This allows the relief depth, motif rhythm and joints to match the existing stucco.
Once prepared, a model can be repeated throughout one or several rooms. The sample, dimensions and finish are approved before a series is produced.
