Hand-Shaped Surfaces With the Look of Natural Stone

Michelangelo decorative stone is not produced as a mass-made concrete tile. The relief is shaped by hand for the wall or building, allowing the size of the stone faces, joint depth, irregularities and colour to form a natural-looking surface that belongs in its setting.

Decorative stone is not mass-produced by casting concrete. The relief is shaped by hand directly on the wall or building, allowing joint width, stone size, depth and colour to be adapted to the actual space.

Its low weight also allows installation on properly prepared external insulation systems. The substrate, protective coating and finish are specified according to whether the cladding is indoors, in a covered area or on a fully exposed facade.

The range includes stone wall cladding, fireplace cladding, relief walls, artificial rock, themed walls and smaller functional elements. Artificial rock is shaped as a complete composition with natural transitions, shadows and irregular edges.

Lighting is planned together with the relief because side lighting emphasises depth and texture. Sockets, switches, shelves, openings and junctions are resolved before the surface is given its final shape.

Wall Preparation

Surface, Joints and Final Protection

Before installation, check the wall capacity, segment layout and final joint treatment.

Measure the Entire Surface

Provide the width, height, corners, openings, sockets and all elements that interrupt the wall cladding.

Check Wall Flatness and Capacity

The surface must be clean, dry and stable enough for the selected bonding or fixing method.

Agree the Pattern and Joints

Segments are arranged so transitions, corners and edges read as one continuous stone surface.

Choose Protection for the Space

The finish is selected for moisture, contact, cleaning and whether the cladding is used indoors or outdoors.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions about decorative stone and wall coverings

Is decorative stone lighter than real stone?

Yes, decorative stone cladding can give the appearance of stone with less weight and greater adaptation to the space. This is practical for accent walls, bars, fireplace areas, receptions and areas where solid stone is not ideal.

Can decorative stone be used in the interior and exterior?

It is possible, but the performance is planned according to the location. The interior is looking for a good visual effect and neat connections, while the exterior is looking for a final protection, a stable base and a treatment that matches the external conditions.

How to choose the tone, grout and texture of stone cladding?

Tone and texture are chosen according to lighting, floors, furniture and the impression you want to achieve. Warmer colors give a more rustic character, and calmer and lighter textures work better in more modern interiors.

Can decorative cladding be placed around a fireplace?

It can be planned for fireplace zones, but you need to know if it is a real heat source, an electric fireplace or a decorative zone. The material, distance and protection must correspond to the conditions of use.

How is decorative stone cladding cleaned?

Dust is removed with a soft brush or a vacuum with a gentle attachment, while more durable finishes can be wiped with a slightly damp cloth. Abrasive products should not be used without testing first.

Are you planning a stone-look wall covering?

Provide the purpose, approximate dimensions and expected use. The material, construction and finish can then be defined.
